VN9800 WEAR RINGS are precisely processed from a specially formulated reinforced nylon. It’s
high compressive strength and load bearing capabilities meet or exceed that of most metals used for
this purpose.
The tough properties inherent in the exclusive VN9800 formulation allow for extremely low wear.
Because VN9800 Wear Rings are non-metallic, they totally eliminate metal-to-metal contact and
the consequent galling and scoring of cylinder bores and rods.
VN9800 Wear Rings readily ingest harmful metal flakes, burs, and small chips. They will not
generate contamination as is common with metallic rings.
VN9800 is compatible with all common hydraulic oils, water emulsions, water glycol, and
phosphate ester fluids.
The high strength and stiffness of VN9800 Wear Rings provides special advantages in portpassing
applications.
Because of our special processing, our wear ring cross section tolerance is .124 + .001 (1/8”).
Thus you have 30% or more, bearing contact area than conventionally manufactured rings. This
process makes Verco Wear Rings ‘FLAT’.
