The PI Piston Seal provides superb sealing performance and very long service life.
Single acting design can be used separately for single acting cylinders or in back-to-back tandems for double acting cylinders.
Asymmetrical design assures the highest performance by preventing tipping and twisting in the housing.
Knife-cut lips on both the dynamic and static sides assures maximum sealing force to provide maximum motion control while preventing drift.
The PI Piston Seal is made from DISOGRIN 9250, world renowned for its resistance to wear and tear and for its very low compression set.
The result is superior performance and longer operating life.
The PI is resistant to pressure spikes and diesel effect. Capable of withstanding pressures up to 6,000 psi and 300°F (intermittent), the PI Piston Seal is excellent choice for those tough applications with high pressures or temperatures where other seals fail.
