The HBY Rod Buffer Seal is the newest in sealing technology for high performance cylinders.
The HBY is designed specifically to serve as the primary seal in a sealing system.
Superior abrasion and wear resistance of DISOGRIN 9250 ensures longer operating life than other urethanes.
Designed with a back-up ring, the HBY is engineered to withstand higher operating pressures (spikes up to 8,000 psi) and temperatures than other seals.
The dynamic sealing lip is knife-cut for best sealing efficiency.
Low compression set of DISOGRIN 9250 means cycle after tough cycle, the HBY will continue to seal against leakage.
No adhesion effect on sliding surface, even after long standstill.
The patented static lip design, relieves any pressure build-up which may occur between the HBY
and the secondary seal (e.g. the D-300).
The HBY is the most reliable protection of your sealing system for maximum service life.
Available in a number of standard sizes, inch and metric, up to 10” (250mm) diameter.
