May be used to simplify pump pricing at start-up in a blocked circuit, or to remove air trapped in the system

When used to remove air trapped in the system, the valve should be placed at the highest point of the circuit

Lets air pass at low pressure (startup) to the drain, and shuts off oil flow at pressures above 0.83 bar (12 psi)

The valve will pass 7.6 L/min (2 US GPM) just before shutting off

Recommended only for systems with a minimum supply that exceeds 7.6 L/min (2 US gpm)
